ぴんくの象 - KOKIA

無意間找到這首很可愛的歌，來自 KOKIA 的專輯『trip trip』。其實平常就有在聽她的歌，感覺是很認真的歌手，不過畢竟她的歌聲不算我偏好的類型，加上很多曲子宗教味道太濃了，所以她的作品我不是每首都聽過，平常也不會刻意去找。不過這首『Pink no zou』真的太有趣了，帶點民俗風，KOKIA 的表演也很可愛。

其實粉紅象最早的來源是 Jack London 在 1913 年『John Barleycorn』裡描寫酒鬼喝得爛醉看到粉紅色大象：

the man whom we all know, stupid, unimaginative, whose brain is bitten numbly by numb maggots; who walks generously with wide-spread, tentative legs, falls frequently in the gutter, and who sees, in the extremity of his ecstasy, blue mice and pink elephants. He is the type that gives rise to the jokes in the funny papers.

而後在流行文化裡數次出現後，「seeing pink elephants」便用來指喝醉酒所看到的幻象，一家比利時啤酒 Delirium Tremens 甚至在商標上就放著一頭可愛的粉紅象。

其實世界上是真的有粉紅色的大象，不過那是大象的白子造成的，在自然環境中由於陽光裡的紫外線，這種白子常常無法活著長大。但在東南亞幾個國家，白象在宗教上擁有很尊貴的地位，佛教裡，普賢菩薩便是騎著白象的。
